It seems that everywhere you turn in Munich there is some kind of green space waiting to be taken advantage of.

Munich is one of the greenest cities in Europe, with a number of large parks within its city borders. In fact, the biggest city park in the world, the English Garden, is in Munich. In addition to that, there is the Olympia Park, where the 1972 Olympics were held.

Add to that the grounds of Nymphenburger Palace, the Hirschgarten and the Hofgarten and you realize why Munich has been voted one of the most livable cities in the world!
