The Temple Bar Pub is one of the busiest traditional Irish pubs in the Temple Bar area. It has served its guest for over 160 years, and has gained even more popularity since the rejuvenation of the Temple Bar district.
Inside you'll find your typical Irish pub – whiskey and Guinness paraphernalia lining the walls, with cozy corners where you can enjoy a pint.
The Temple Bar is home to one of Ireland's largest Whiskey collections. Here you can try over 450 different types of Irish, Scotch and Bourbon whiskey. If you can't decide, a good tip is to try the Whiskey Sample Menu, which gives you a taste of a number of distinctly different brews.
The pub also serves traditional Irish food, and specializes in fresh Irish Oysters – something that has to be tried during your trip to the Irish capital.
You can also see traditional Irish music sessions here daily, all without a cover charge. The music starts at around 2pm, and continues on into the night.
There is a small beer garden out the back too for when the weather is good.
