Nassau Street can be found in Dublin's city center where it runs alongside the famous Trinity College. It is one of the many shopping areas in Dublin, and is particularly well-known for its shops selling quality Irish bits and pieces such as crystal, china, jewelry and fabrics.

You can also find Dublin's main bookshops nearby such as Eason's on the corner of Nassau Street and Dawson Street.

Nassau Street was originally known as St. Patrick's Well Lane but in the 1700s it was renamed to its current name which stems from the Royal House of Nassau.

Today this area of Dublin's shopping district is mainly frequented by tourists looking for authentic Irish gifts and souvenirs.
