ILAC shopping center is located in Henry Street, in the inner north side of Dublin and is easily accessed from the city. It was the first major shopping complex in Dublin city and was built in the 1980s. In recent times, it has undergone extensive renovations, which has resulted in a well designed, light filled, contemporary shopping precinct.
ILAC has attracted over 60 retail outlets including major stores such as Debehams, Dunnes, H & M, Boots, Game and Roches and Easons bookshop. The complex is divided up into a series of shopping malls, which can be accessed via several street entry points.
As with all modern shopping centers, there are plenty of places to eat and relax. There is even a small chapel if the shopping trip becomes too much to handle.
Dublin's central library is located on the first floor. It has free broadband and wireless internet access and is a great place to spend some time.
The complex is open daily with late night shopping on Thursday to 9:00pm.
ILAC is serviced well by all types of public transport. There is parking provision for over 1000 private cars which is accessed from Parnell Street. The closest DART stations are Tara and Connolly and the shopping center is on the LUAS Red line service. Several of Dublin's buses service the area as well.
