Not as fancy or quaint as many of Dublin's more popular pubs, Grogans Castle Lounge still has plenty to offer. It is not as busy or noisy as some other venues and is a good place to go for a really relaxed drink and something light to eat.

Grogans is not one of Dublin's largest establishments and comprises of only one room. It attracts a mixed crowd but all seem intent on chatting, eating and of course drinking. This however changes on Friday and Saturday nights, when the pub attracts a much larger crowd.

There are no distractions from a noisy TV or loud music and in many ways, it seems a much more authentic than some of the more well known drinking holes in the city. Here expect to meet and mix with the locals as well as admire some local art on the walls, which is also for sale.
