The famous De Bijenkorf in central Amsterdam

De Bijenkorf is a chain of twelve luxurious department stores in Amsterdam, with their historic flagship shop sitting on the Dam Square.

Their Dam Square location is the one to visit, with six floors of opulent products displayed in equally lavish surroundings. Among items such as clothing, jewelry and leather goods, there is also a large restaurant, a hair dressers and even an art gallery.

With more than 20,000 square meters of retail space to wander around, it is the biggest department store in Amsterdam – making it very popular with both keen shoppers and tourists.

There is also pay-and-display parking available at the store, however, due to its popularity, this does get very busy.
