St Agnes Convent is the oldest convent in Europe and also the first gothic building of the Czech Republic.
Founded by Agnes of Bohemia, sister to King Wenceslas I, it was used by the Sisters of the Poor Clares until the Hussite Wars. It has been fully restored and is now used by the National Gallery of Prague to show Central European art.
