The Vienna Card can save visitors money when visiting the Austrian capital by giving them unlimited use of Vienna's public transport and discounted entry into almost all Vienna attractions.
The card is valid for up to 72 hours after purchase, and can be purchased from either the Information Center on Albertinaplatz (where more information about Vienna attractions can be found), or at ticket booths at any major Vienna public transport station such as Stephansplatz, Karlsplatz or Westbahnhof.
In total, the card gives discounts into over 200 attractions, theatres, shops and restaurants.
For each Vienna Card purchased, a child under 15 can also travel for free.
The price for the ticket is not bad when you consider that it provides free access to the public transport network. Three days of unlimited travel alone would almost cost as much as the card, making it in most cases a good deal for tourists.
