One of the smaller of the larger tents, the Fischer Veroni is unique for the food it specializes in - the typically Bavarian Steckerlfisch (fish on a stick).
A number of different types of fish are available, and makes a nice change if you've been at the Oktoberfest for a few days already and you've had enough of roasted chickens and pork knuckles. Non-fish dishes are however available here as well.
Inside the tent and keeping with the fish theme, the center piece is a bow of a ship on which the band plays to the crowd below. The tent is one of the newest at the Oktoberfest, being mostly reconstructed for the 2006 Oktoberfest, and generally has better ventilation that some of the larger tents which may be of benefit to you if you don't enjoy second hand cigarette smoke.
The beer served here is one of the local favorites - Augustiner. Fischer Vroni is located at the far north of the grounds, on the eastern side of the main tent street right next to the main entrance.
Being one of the smaller tents, the atmosphere here is more intimate and you're more likely to find locals here than hordes of tourists.
Even if you don't manage to get the chance to go into this tent, the Steckerlfisch can be bought outside where they are grilling on a 15m long row of coals. This is definitely a traditional Bavarian dish that you don't want to miss out on.
