Jervis Shopping Center is a large, contemporary building constructed in 1996 on the site of the Jervis Street Hospital. Its exterior is a mix of heritage listed facades from the hospital as well as buildings on Abbey Street.
It is located near the popular Temple Bar area of Dublin. Five of the floors are used as retail space, covering an area of over 12,000 square meters. It is one of the newest shopping precincts in Dublin and the first to incorporate a food court.
Its main feature is the central rotunda, topped with a light catching glass dome, around which the retail outlets are placed, which creates a light airy feel to the center.
Many internationally known retailers are now occupants including Marks & Spencers, Tescos, Arnotts and Boots. There are also several food outlets including Burger King as well as the Food Court offering a wide variety of dishes.
Getting there by car is made easier as the store provides its own car park. This has room for 750 vehicles and is accessed from Jervis Street. It is also serviced well by bus and is centrally located to provide excellent pedestrian access from the city.
