An absolutely stunning club, with its elaborate interior decked out in high quality art deco finishes. It is one of Dublin's trendiest places and is situated close to the city center in Dawson Street.
Café En Seine is spread over three floors, each floor offering opulent fixtures including gilded mirrors, large ornate lanterns, chandeliers, a grand piano and an atrium with massive plants. The venue has an exotic feel about it and the bar is made of wood and marble, one of the best to be found.
During the day it is much quieter than at night and it is possible to eat a quiet, relaxed meal in comfortable seating and surroundings. At night, especially on weekends, it can get very crowded and loud. Dancing, music and DJs are features on Friday and Saturday nights.
If you are a lover of Jazz music then make sure you go along on Sundays as there is a live jazz band playing. On Monday nights, be entertained with some Big Bank Swing Music.
Some people may find the prices more expensive than other clubs in Dublin but plenty of people seem to be happy to pay a bit extra in exchange for the ambience of the premises.
Café En Seine won Jameson's Pub of the Year in 2002. It is open every day of the week with late closing time of 3:00am from Thursday through to Saturday.
If you are looking to drink and dine in a more up-market surrounding then Café En Seine may be the place to go.
