Wilmersdorfer Strasse is Berlin's oldest shopping street. The street was pretty much destroyed in World War II, but was rebuilt in the 1970s. The shopping starts at Adenauerplatz, and continues up until Otto-Suhr-Allee, a large part of which is now pedestrian only.
In 2006, a new shopping mall opened in this area called the Wilmersdorfer Arkaden, which contains over 120 specialty shops over three floors.
The easiest way to reach the center is with the U2 to Bismarkstrasse, U7 to Wilmersdorfer Str or the S3, S5, S7 or S9 to Charlottenburg. There is also a 300 car parking lot on site as well.
