SO36 is a live music venue in Kreuzberg that is also popular with the gay and lesbian community in Berlin. The club has a long history, and has been in this same spot for many years.
At the front of the venue is a small bar, with the concert hall behind. Bands that play here come from all sorts of musical backgrounds from rock to soul. When there is no live act, the club always puts on some sort of party, so any night that the club is open, there will be something interesting happening.
Although this is one of Berlin's best known clubs, drink prices here are still not too expensive.
