Berlin is a city with a troubled past, but has reinvented itself as one of the most interesting and up and coming cities in Europe. The city was previously the head quarters of the German Nazi Party, and was almost completely flattened during World War 2 as a result. As a further punishment, the city was made to live in two parts through the next chapter in it's history, serving as the front line between east and west in the cold way.
Berlin has a rich history, which is on display in the many Art Galleries and Museums the city has to offer. In addition, visitors can also taste the new Berlin - fully of trendy night clubs and up market shopping outlets.
