OSTEL – Das DDR Hostel is a theme hostel, which is decorated with retro furniture, an old-style radio and 1970’s wallpaper. Apartments include a fully equipped kitchen and dining area.
Breakfast is available each morning.
Guests are also welcome to relax in the attractive garden with seating, where barbecues are held every Saturday in summer.
There is also an outdoor table tennis table and beach volleyball court.
The nearby Ostbahnhof Train Station provides direct connections to the Alexanderplatz Square, Hackescher Markt entertainment district and the Friedrichstraße shopping street. Many clubs and bars are located near the Ostel.
