Vienna has an international airport which can be easily reached from a number of European destinations as well as direct from many international cities. It is the hub city for Austria's national carrier, Austrian Air, and can serve as an excellent stop over destination.
The airport itself is situated in the cities south east. It is well connected to the city's public transport network, which makes getting from the airport to your hotel no trouble at all.
