Car rental can be an important part of any holiday. There are many cities, especially in Europe, where most people will advise not to hire a car, due to good public transport and parking difficulties with a car.
However, it is often difficult to visit surrounding attractions, even in Europe, without a car. One example would be Munich, Germany - a city with one of the best public transport infrastructures in the world.
